In addition to the launch of Honor 9X Range, Honor revealed its new wearable device, Honor Band 5. It seems like, Honor Band 5 aims to compete directly with Xiaomi’s Mi Band 4 and wants to do so through the features.
Firstly, the Honor Band 5 comes with a 0.95 inch AMOLED color screen. It has 282 PPI and 2.5D glass on top. A plus point is that it bets on new dials to meet different user needs. However, the highlight of the new smart band is undoubtedly the oxygen sensor in the blood. It is undoubtedly a gamechanger as it costs less than Rs.2,200. In practice, it gives a clear advantage over the Xiaomi Mi Band 4.
The other features are already more common. We specifically talk about a heart rate monitoring system, the ability to monitor sleep and to detect six different types of problems. It also includes 10 different sport modes that include indoor and outdoor running, cycling, swimming, and other aerobic exercises. However, like MI Band 4, the Honor Band is waterproof up to 50 meters.
Honor Band 5 will be available in two versions, one standard and one NFC. Other features include remote camera capture, smart notifications, finding the smartphone, and more.
At the level of autonomy, this smart band can work for a period of 14 days. However, the price of Honor Band 5 starts at Rs.2,100 for the standard version and Rs.2,250 for the NFC version. Meanwhile, it is available in black, blue and light pink.
