OrCam MyEye 2.0 is their second-generation model debuted in December 2017, the original OrCam MyEye device was launched in 2015. MyEye 2.0 is a small smart camera mounted on the frames of your eyeglasses, which recognize texts, objects, and give audio output in your ear. You can read books, newspapers, etc with its text recognization system. MyEye 2.0 is smaller and lighter (only 22.5 grams/0.8 ounces) with more functionality than its previous version. 

 With the help of its advance AI, it can also identify objects present in your surrounding. It can also identify persons and faces which can help you to easily recognize your friends and loved ones. MyEye 2.0 is capable of reading barcodes and understanding the products, it can describe the product you are handling. 

These devices support many languages from English, French, German, Hebrew, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, and Swedish too.  

The best part is that it can be operated without an internet connection, which gives it further operational. 

This initiative is clinically proved by JAMA Ophthalmology and Wills Eye. According to their report, OrCam, a novel artificial vision device using a mini-camera mounted on eyeglasses, improved patients with low vision to perform daily tasks such as reading a message on an electronic device, a newspaper article, or a menu. OrCam honored by many awards like Last Gadget Standing Winner in 2018 and CES Innovation Awards Honoree in Accessible Tech for their exceptional work.
