iPhone 12 Pro

No doubt, every year, months before the actual launch, the rumors about the next iPhone or Apple product start spreading on the internet without fail, hence, the year 2020 too is no different. The products will be launched later this year with a new design scheme and internals upgraded. Bloomberg’s new leaked information has interesting claims, detailed Apple’s product roadmap for the year and what to expect from the upcoming iPhone.

Design inspired by iPad Pro

As per Bloomberg’s report, Apple will redesign the chassis of the iPhone 12 Pro to make it resemble quite a bit to the iPad Pro. Bloomberg claims that the phone will have flat screen, while Apple analyst Ming-chi Kuo in his original report claimed that the screen would be slightly curved

Specifications and features

The report says, there will be two iPhone 12 Pro models. iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will also house the new LiDAR augmented reality (AR) sensor scanner seen on the latest iPad Pro introduced in 2020. The phones offer three camera lenses, while there may be two other affordable iPhone 12 models that will house two lenses. It is yet to know whether the scanner will add on to the three cameras already existing or replace any one of those. Reports also mention that finally this year, the ‘Max’ variant of the iPhone 12 Pro, along with a smaller notch, will have a bigger screen than the 6.5-inch display on the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

It further adds that the design of the new iPhones will also be inspired a bit by the iPhone 5 and there will be new chipset found on all the new iPhone 12s which will help improve performance as well as capability of new iPhones to handle AR and AI tasks. We also have information that these new products are expected to launch later this year, around the months of September-October.

Bloomberg claims about other products, that there will be a smaller, cheaper HomePod coming this year, along with a new MacBook Pro, Apple TV, iMac, and an entry-level iPad.
